With over 20 different beach access points, residents truly enjoy the coastal life to the fullest.    Outdoor activities offered are whale watching, train rides, rail riding the Oregon coast,  hiking, beachcombing, bird watching, camping, clamming, fishing and crapping.  Local indoor activities included museums, shopping, and Tillamook Cheese Factory.  Residents enjoy several annual events including kite festivals and a fourth of July parade.
